Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Clean Best (CLEAN BEST GROUP PTY LTD, ABN 84 700 040 553) handles personal information collected through cleanbest-commercialcleaningparramatta.com.au. We handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. What we collect

Only what we need in order to quote your job and then do it. If you send the quote form, that is:

• Your first and last name.
• Your phone number and email address.
• The service you selected and the best time for us to call.
• The address of the premises you want cleaned, if you choose to give it. That field is optional.
• Anything you type into the message box, which is also optional.

We do not ask for, and have no use for, your date of birth, your identity documents or your payment card details. Nothing on this website takes a payment.

2. Why we collect it

To ring you back, to arrange the free walkthrough of your premises, to prepare and send your written quote, and — if you go ahead — to roster a cleaner and invoice you. That is the whole list. We do not build a marketing profile out of it and we do not add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.

3. How the form actually works

When you press send, the form posts your details over an encrypted connection to a contact service operated for us at forms.app-dev.lk, which turns them into an email to hello@cleanbestgroup.com.au. The form also carries a hidden anti-spam field that a human never sees and never fills in; if it comes back filled, the submission is discarded as a bot and no email is sent. That field is the only thing on the form that is not there for you.

4. Who else sees it

The Clean Best staff who need it in order to quote and service your site, and the technical providers who run our email and hosting. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not disclose it to anyone else unless you ask us to, or unless the law requires it.

Our email is delivered through Amazon Web Services, and this site is hosted on infrastructure that may store data outside Australia. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

5. How long we keep it

Quote enquiries are kept while the quote is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us. Records relating to work we actually performed are kept for as long as tax and business record-keeping law requires. When information is no longer needed for any purpose we are permitted to keep it for, we destroy it or de-identify it.

6. Cookies and analytics

This site does not set advertising cookies and does not run third-party ad tracking. If website analytics are added in future to understand which pages people actually read, this policy will be updated before they go live rather than after.

7. Security

Form submissions travel over HTTPS. Access to the inbox that receives them is restricted to the staff who need it. No system connected to the internet is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise — what we will say is that we hold as little as possible, for as short a time as possible, which is the only genuinely reliable protection.

8. Access, correction and complaints

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@cleanbestgroup.com.au or call 1300 494 983. We will respond within a reasonable period, and we will not charge you for making the request.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to us first at the same address, and then to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if we have not resolved it.
